Fantastic Semi Towing Bridge Crossing
Our semi towing services in Allentown last week faced an emergency situation. A bridge was closing down for the weekend for repairs. A semi traveling on the highway stopped operating just before the shutdown.
A-1 Towing got the call and headed out to remedy the situation. We had a challenge. There really wasn’t time to hook up the semi to one of our heavy wreckers. The bridge would likely be closed by the time we got into position and hooked everything up.
We made the decision to do a brief repair just to get the truck over the bridge. We figured out that if we pinched off the hydraulic lines for just a moment, we could dive the semi across the bridge. So, we gave it a try. Our guy, Gerry pinched off the line and then he quickly drove the semi across the bridge just before it closed for the weekend. Good job Gerry.
